The last time I saw my ‘official’ OB/GYN was when I was 26 weeks pregnant with Rosie, who just turned three on Sunday. I heard a female comic talking about getting a pap smear, and I thought ‘Oh crap! It’s been three years since I had one.” I don’t know where my original doctor moved to.
So, I’m now looking for a doctor who does pap smears that is not, I repeat, IS NOT a Star Wars fan. I can see it now: The doctor comes into the exam room and introduces himself as O-B-G-Y-NO-BEE. He says that, and I am outta there!

I had one male OB/GYN and it was so uncomfortable that I’ve had women ever since. Much better. They know the apparatus, so it makes more sense!
