She’s done it again.

My seven year old daughter has never shied away from performing her own dental work – sans Novocaine. This one makes tooth extraction number four.

My first grader brings home a folder each day with a Behavior Log for the teacher to note any behavior that’s out of line. The notes in my daughter’s Home Folder recently said that Princess was ‘playing in the bathroom’. When I asked Princess about this, she proudly showed me a gap in her smile, then produced a clean and shiny tooth. It seems that Princess asked to use the restroom in the middle of a lesson in class. When she made her request, she was (of course) doing the ‘Pee-Pee Dance’. The teacher excused my daughter and sent her to the restroom. Princess went to the bathroom to look into the mirror as she pulled her own tooth! My seven year old is spending the night with her aunt tonight, but as soon as I can snap some pictures, I’ll post them!
